Virtual Mobility Agency

At the beginning the Virtual Mobility Agency was created as a part of ECB and consisted of three persons trained in Mobility Management and in SUMO evaluation method (2persons from ECB and 1 from Transport Research Institute). As a consequence of Mobility Week campaign preparation a group of motivated volunteers with expert background directly in Žilina was formed under the name Mulica and coordinated by ECB (Mulica= Slovak equivalent for M(y)STREET). They has also created own website for promoting sustainable mobility on local level- www.mulica.sk  where at the same time the information about Slovak local projects in MOVE were presented. The ambition of this NGO into the future is to coordinate mobility activities within Žilina, to provide information on the website and continue in good cooperation with the formed network of key local stakeholders.

Achievements of Mulica until now:

·       Creation of website on sustainable mobility issues on local level www.mulica.sk

·       Elaboration and publishing the Guide for city transport in Žilina (together with town)

·       Organising Mobility Week actions

·       Coordinating several public cycle rides for promoting cycle transport in town

·       Realisation of campaign „Stop parking on pavements“

·       Organising the workshop „My mobility in Žilina“

·       Support to town in issues of cycle transport
