The Training School for Industry and Craft "G. Marconi" is a Technical Secondary School located in Ortona in Province of Chieti, it is attended by 226 students and the teaching staff is made-up by 40 teachers. The school has two courses of studies: "Electronics and telecommunication" and "Fashion and style" but in september it will be operative a new course of studies, "Optics", the sole in our region.
The Training School for Industry and Craft "G. Marconi" is a very receptive school towards innovative collaboration experiences and open to European cooperations, infact it has already adhered to the Communitary Comenius Programme which seeks to develop understanding of and between various European cultures through exchanges and co-operation between schools in different countries in order to cultivate the notion of European citizenship. Comenius has the objective of promoting School Partnerships and the "Marconi" has started two partnerships with a German school and with a Polish school.
The A.L.E.S.A. involved the school "G. Marconi" in the implementation of the local project organizing an educational path structured in 5 different phases:
- Phase 1: Submission of an initial questionnaire to all students and their teachers which enabled us to know the travel habits in the home-school-home- trips and in the free time trips and to know some information of particular interest as: the means of transport used, the travel distances and ect.

- Phase 2: Organization of frontal lessons with the students in the course of which the staff of A.L.E.S.A. explained the notion of mobility and its negative effect, the notion of sustainable mobility, the italian current laws about the sustainable mobility, the alternative means of transport, the biofuels and some Italian best practice.

- Phase 3: Announcement of the competition "Draw the logo and think the slogan" addressed to all students of the school "G. Marconi" in order to produce a " Without car day" logo to use for printing T-shirts and other informative material. The winner is the student Luca Pezzoli the creator of the slogan "Usa la testa cammina!" (Use your head walk!) who will come with a classmate to Bilbao for the final meeting of the Move project.

Phase 4: The "
Without car day" realized on 22
nd May 2008 in which the students and their teachers have been invited to use alternative means of transport in their house-school travel and in the free-time trip encouraging changes of behaviours toward conscious choices of sustainable transport modes. The A.L.E.S.A. staff's during the morning met all the students, distributed the T-shirts, made know the results of the first questionnaire and awarded the winner of the competition.

Phase 5: Submission of a second questionnaire which allow us to quantify the participation to the event, the changes of behaviours and the degree of satisfaction of the local project carried out by A.L.E.S.A.

Phase 6: Submission of a final questionnaire to know the impact of the local project after 6 months and if the MOVE campaign permanently influenced the mobility choices of the target groups and the changes of tranport behaviors.
