The partner organisations are working with 16 Schools all together. Klimaschutzagentur is co-ordinating  the different approaches and gives information to teachers and parents.

After a pilot phase with 3 primary schools, the major part will follow with 13 schools in phase two (September 2007). 

Another two primary schools did follow the examples of the pilot schools and now began to establish their own Walking Bus. 

Since the main part of schools will be addressed in the frame of a greater project dealing with movement, nutrition and self-consciousness, the start of the actual Walking Bus was here shifted to the start of the school year period in September 2007.

There has been a new colleague employed who will deal with this aspect and benefit from the pilot phase's results.
